A Day in the Life of a Mover – Christina’s Experience

“Being a moving coordinator, I was aware of what basically went on during a move day. When I actually went out on the truck with a team for the day, I learned much more. I developed a different way of understanding what the team goes through to get the job accomplished.”

Make a Donation to Move for Hunger

“As a nonprofit organization, Move for Hunger needs all the help it can get to keep itself running. With the help of donations, Move for Hunger can continue to help keep food banks full and help provide food to those that truly need it. Move for Hunger Receives 17,500 Pounds of Donated Food in Seattle

“A lot of the events we post here on the blog for Move for Hunger are in the local area, but Move for Hunger’s efforts reach the entirety of the United States! For instance, we have an example of an event below that took place in Seattle. A moving company called Gentle Giant Moving Company donated its time in collecting food for the organization during a marathon. This is the kind of efforts we often do for Move for Hunger at Ridgewood Moving Services.”

Center For Hope and Safety Holds its 28th Annual Family Picnic

“Recently, the Center for Hope and Safety held its 28th annual family picnic! This is an event that is held as a reunion for former and current agency clients. The event was such a success and over 300 people were in attendance! The people that donated made the event possible, so thank you to everyone that helped out!”

PSA: Want to Move? Book it Now!

“Did you know that summer is the busiest time of the year for a moving company? Every year, we get tons of clients asking us to move. Families typically have more time than normal, especially those that have kids no longer attending school, making them more prone to moving as a result.”
