Making food donations to is one way to make a difference in the world, but Lauren Hawkins from Move For Hunger found that you can prevent food waste even in your own home! There are simple things that everyone can do to reduce food waste, as Lauren outlined on her blog post, and we would like to share this information with everyone here.
I wanted to reach out and compliment the guys on the fabulous job they did on my mom’s move. Your team members are always professional and friendly, but these guys were also magicians: Even though the space was tight, they fit all the furniture (like Tetris) into the storage unit.
To show the impact that one person’s efforts can have, a woman in Nebraska collected hygiene products. She did this at her town’s local post office from September 23-October 3 to support everyone in her community. In a little over a week, she made amazing progress!
