The company came to our home in advance to view our items and provide an estimate. It was easy to schedule our move date, although there was some difficulties confirming when it got closer. Ultimately, on the day of the move, everything was a sure pleasure and we came in under budget. The movers seemed honest and did a very nice job.

I apologize for not writing sooner. Nobody told me that the packing up part was the easy part. Unpacking and finding places for all our important stuff is the hard part. Deidre was very helpful, very professional and accommodating. The crew on packing day and moving day could not have been better. They were careful, helpful, polite and worked so well together. In the few weeks that we have been here, we have met a number of people who noticed the Ridgewood Moving Services truck and then welcomed us to the community, but not before telling us that RMS had also moved them. Particularly Hank & Kathy McNally who told us you have moved them everywhere. We thank you all so much for making an otherwise stressful event run so smoothly. I would highly recommend your staff and services to anyone.

It was money well spent.
The best part of the moving experience was meeting you.
After that, Steve and the crew were good spirited, attentive to our instructions, quick and professional.
They finished sooner than the estimated time, even with 5†of new snow on the ground.
Nothing (so far as we can tell at this point) was damaged, and no one complained about moving nearly a ton of CDs and vinyl records up and down 2 flights.
Sue made sure my landlady got a copy of Ridgewood’s insurance certificate.
She quickly responded with answers concerning various details by e mails and by phone.
I have already mentioned Ridgewood Movers to several friends, and would not hesitate to recommend you in the future.
If I ever have to move again in the future (please God, no!) Ridgewood would be my first choice.

Not to worry. We moved today and it was such a pleasant experience. We had a great crew of guys that made it all so easy and amazingly fast. We'll be requesting them again when we make our final journey from the rental to Franklin Lakes - they won't be able to dodge us!
For first time movers leaving our first home, this was just about as good an experience as moving can be. For that, I thank you, Ridgewood Moving Company and your great crew. I'll be recommending you for sure!

Considering how stressful a move generally is, the guys who moved us actually made it almost fun. They were cheerful, yet very professional. Although we were only moving across town, we did the whole thing in one day, and the entire process went off without a hitch, making an exhausting day tolerable. Also, surprisingly, the final cost was actually *less* than the estimate (probably because we did almost all of our own packing). The whole experience was very positive, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company. Thanks guys!

My wife and I recently moved our family to Ramsey, NJ on December 1st. Ridgewood Movers was recommended to us through a family friend, Jimmy M. We already had a lot of quotes, but to be honest we were most comfortable with your company. We used a larger "van lines" mover for our previous move and did not have a good experience.
It's not very often that I sit down to write a letter, but felt we had such a great experience with Ridgewood Movers I was compelled to do so. Everyone we dealt with at the company was helpful and willing to do what they needed to get us moved, from Diedre to Susan and of course Jimmy and the crew that came to do the physical move. It's good people that make a company and you have good people working for you.
