On October 3rd 2013, Cindy Myer of Ridgewood Moving accepted the NJWMA (New Jersey Warehousemen and Movers Association) award for 2013 Mover Member of the Year.
Upon receiving the honor, Ms. Myer stated, “Eight years ago, I took over a business that I had no idea how to run, in an industry I knew nothing about. To receive this award is a true testament to the hard work and dedication of the Ridgewood Moving team – both the dedicated movers as well as the office staff. Also, the support I received from my colleagues in the moving industry has been invaluable. I am grateful to those people that have helped me make this ongoing journey – toward continual excellence and service of Ridgewood Moving’s clientele – a meaningful one.”
The New Jersey Warehousemen and Movers Association is State of New Jersey’s Association for the Moving Industry, and regulated by the Division of Consumer Affairs. The organization stresses that its members adhere to several important principles, such as fair and honest dealing with clients, just treatment of workers and customers, truthfulness in advertising, and continual improvement of company processes.
